Our Youth African Day will feature youth who will present various performances honoring the African culture in Black History month.
Dr. Vaughn’s history of fighting for the rights of all minorities is extensive. He and his wife witnessed harsh racism in their hometowns and made it their mission to educate the community on how righteousness, love and forgiveness overcome the strongholds of racism. Dr. Vaughn designated our African Day to honor the black community and the many contributions to our society. On this day everyone is African and many wear African attire to display support of the rich culture. It is fun and we hope that you will join us in this great celebration!
