Worship & Praise


Our vision at New Life Christian Center is to take the City of San Antonio for Jesus through Praise and Worship and occupy until He comes. We have an understanding that worship first begins in our hearts and the music resides from the Joy of the Lord! The Worship & Praise ministries of New Life seeks to participate in the worship of the ages. Like the psalmist David whose heart was filled with songs to the God of Israel, we lift our voices in a musical and dancing form of worship.
 
Experience worship in a variety of styles at New Life Christian Center. We sing, dance, and play instruments for His pleasure and glory. Sing songs of worship from the ancient Hebraic musical expressions to modern contemporary gospel and charismatic praise songs. Our worship focus is to serve the messiah, not for the benefit of ourselves (although through worship His presence brings blessing, healing, and restoration).

Choir & Musicians 

The New Life Christian Center Choir is a powerful supporter of the ministry and has developed and grown over time. Singing to our God is the passion of the choir and the musicians also have that passion to worship with instruments. We welcome you to join our team for a practice on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.  joining our dynamic choir for an experience of extravagant praise and intimate worship dedicated to embracing the Messiah.

Visual Movement (Banners)

We welcome you to New Life Christian Center Visual Movement Ministry (Banners). The Visual Movement Ministry (Banners) is embracing our Hebraic roots and the vision of our pastors with pageantry using banners and streamers. This ministry is full of excitement and splendor! Join us and help us give praise and worship to the Lord our God by raising banners in His name as He spreads His banner of love and protection over us! Rehearsals are scheduled for Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m.

God's Elect Dancers of Prayz

Since the inception of the New Life Praise Dance Team, there has been a progressive growth in praise and adoration for our God who created us to praise Him. There is an urgency to take this city for Jesus through praise and worship. Praise dance is one important medium we have incorporated into the ministry of New Life Christian Center to achieve this important mandate. Our pastors, being led by the Holy Spirit, have integrated praise dance in our worship for over twenty years. The joy of the Lord has grown stronger and deeper ever since.

Dance is an outward expression of and inward revelation. For the New Life Christian Center family it is an act of worship expressed by redeemed believers. The dancers, all Spirit-filled, are able to portray that which they receive from God, and communicate it to His people. This expression can be revealed in a dance of rejoicing, a dance of warfare, a dance of travail, or a dance of prophecy. Being led by the Holy Spirit, God’s Elect Dancers of Prayz, are on the cutting edge of proclaiming the works and attributes of God.

The NLCC God’s Elect Dancers of Prayz have been set apart to minister. They have been liberated in their spirit, soul, and body to take part in ushering the Spirit into our services and simply to praise the Lord! God’s Elect Dancers of Prayz recognize the sound, the voice, and the unction of the Holy Spirit, and stand ready to minister effectively (II Chronicles 20:21).
