Production

Lighting

If you are fairly new to television and video production, you might not have a sense of why lighting is so important. The cameras you've used are so sensitive, you can often get away with no additional lighting. The key to fine lighting is not only to stimulate reality, but to communicate the proper mood and feeling to the viewer. The lighting team has developed an understanding of how certain looks communicate to viewers. The lighting team handles the house lights and spot light when necessary. The digital cameras we use to film our television broadcast are highly affected by the lighting we display. Therefore lighting is crucial to our television and live streaming audience. Anyone can learn about lighting in as little as 1 or 2 services.

Sound

Sound is the very foundation of what most large gatherings are based on.

Over the last couple of years the overall sound of the church and the skills of the sound team have grown. In March of 2004, John Smith was given the opportunity to lead the Sound Team. With the new technology in audio systems that are out today, we have had to upgrade the sound setup. As the church is going to the next level, the technology should as well. We have moved from a sound system that was old-fashioned, complicated, and took up too much space to a system that not only sounds better, it is much easier to run, takes up less space, and almost runs itself.

There are always things that can be bought to improve the set up. Most importantly we need more manpower. I know when people see the soundboard, with all of the buttons and knobs, it looks scary! However, sound doesn't have to be working the board, there are other key positions. The sound team is always glad to meet new people interested or experienced in this field.

In today's world projectors have become a standard for displaying information to an audience. At New Life Christian Center we have a team that manages the information output on our projectors. This ministry enhances the congregation's understanding with the words to songs, Bible study notes, DVD presentations and upcoming events. We currently have 6 large projector screens on campus in various areas. We use various software to ease the process of displaying information to the congregation. We invite you to join our team today!

Television Team

New Life Christian Center has produced television projects for several broadcasting stations over the years. The video team consists of various key roles. The New Life Television Team supports the vision by videotaping our Pastor's messages and delivering God's Word to the masses via television broadcast. We have a team that functions several cameras on the floor and in our balcony level. We also have a behind the scenes team that monitors all camera personnel to produce the correct production scenes. The team then edits the captured video in various software in order to complete a television presentation for various TV stations. People's lives are being changed through the Word of God preached through our Pastors. The TV ministry has openings for new members to join. If you are a member of the church and are 16yrs or older, you can serve in this ministry. You will learn a lot about the digital video industry in this ministry and one on one training is available for anyone interested.

Graphic Design

The term graphic design can refer to a number of artistic and professional disciplines which focus on visual communication and presentation. Various methods are used to create and combine symbols, images and/or words to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. Graphic design often refers to both the process (designing) by which the communication is created and the products (designs) which are generated. The graphic design produces magazines, cd cover designs, book cover designs, web images, flyers, posters, postcards, forms, logos, billboards, banners, brochures, and many more graphic material.

Photography

Photography has become a powerful means of communication and a mode of visual expression that touches human life in many ways. For example, photography has become popular as a means of crystallizing memories. Most of the billions of photographs taken today are snapshots which are casual records to document personal events such as vacations, birthdays, and weddings, etc. Photography in the church is used for various reasons. We convey to the viewer and what we do as a community and church. Photos that are taken are used in combination with most of our graphic designing. If you have a background in photography or want to learn about it please inquire from us today.

CD Ministry / Production Team

The CD ministry team was formed in early 2000 as we transitioned into digital recording. The CD team is responsible for the accurate recording of all messages that are taught by our Pastors, Ministers, and or Elders. We utilize Wavelab software in order to bring out the highest audio quality for our products.

With all the components of a production team there needs to be hands that package and print all our products. The production team is utilized by printing graphic designs, duplicating and or replicating cd sermons, printing images with the use of Adobe Creative Suite Software for the printing of images onto CD's from our Prism Rimage Perfect Image printers, and packaging DVD and CD teaching packages. If you want to learn something quick and simple, the production team is the place to start.
