The Youth Ministry in New Life Christian Center is designed for youth 12-20, to assist both New Life Christian and the parents in instructing the youth in the ways of the Lord so that as they grow and mature, they will not depart from it. The three fold purpose of our ministry is to ENSURE that the youth establish a healthy spiritual relationship with JESUS, that enables them to walk in a path of obedience, discipline, and righteousness; to EMPOWER the you of San Antonio to explore the greatness that is gained in serving and fellow shipping with the Jesus, through a gathering of believers, in a family like atmosphere; and finally to ENJOY youth services and activities developed specifically for youth that will enhance their lives spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, and economically.

Teen Dancers (Young Women of Valor)

We are an assisting part of the vision at NLCC to taking this city for Jesus through Praise and Worship and occupying it until He comes. We were created to worship and exalt our Lord, and come together as Priest’s and Levites; called as ministers to minister unto our Lord Jesus Christ , and His people to bring healing, restoration, and deliverance through the dance. We are always excited and open to have new called and anointed young women that are dedicated and have a heart to worship the Lord in the dance. Our overall Vision for the youth in the dance ministry is to; help them grow spiritually into mature bold women of God. Our Mission Statement is to; Worship our Lord Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth, to glorify God in unison with the Holy Spirit and each other. To minister to the lost, the broken hearted, and ignite the passion among believers, because apart from Him we can do nothing.

Young Mentors

(Ages: 12-20)
Meeting Days: Every Sunday (additional meetings required after application)
Time: 9:30am- 10:45am
Place: New life Christian Academy

We are a ministry which works in the development of young men of God. Mentored by Pastor LaSalle R. Vaughn, it’s an outreach to the young boys of the San Antonio community. Our mission is to equip young men with the Godly tools of success in every aspect of their life. Our activities include: group discussions, outings, volunteer work & many other activities.

           3 Prolonged Goals:

           1.) Gain a greater relationship with God
           2.) Familiarize themselves with the Ministry and Mentors
           3.) Become active members of the Ministry and with Community Affairs

God's Girls

(Girls Ages: 12-18)
Meetings: Sunday Morning
Time: 9:30am – 10:45am
Place: New Life Christian Academy

We are a ministry for young girls and we help teach them in the ways of God. We teach them about what it means to be a young girl and develop them into becoming the woman of God that He created them to be. The ministry is designed for ages 12-18 years old and we meet Sunday mornings from 9:45am till 10:45am. Please join us if you are interested and we look forward to your fellowship.

Dance is an integral part of being human, God created us to dance for Him. Our children are introduced to the worlds type of dancing at an early age. But there is another type of dancing that glorifies God. Liturgical  dance is a wonderful way to express ones love for the Lord through dancing and New Life Christian Center is dedicated to starting our kids at a young age.  We introduce them to Israeli songs and dance as well as songs they choose. They are encouraged to bring ideas of their own, dance moves as well as songs they like. We start at the tender age of 4 ½ all the way to 12 years old. We start with basic ballet which helps with balance and coordination. The children are taught dances that they are able to dance in special services, they are also taught how to do free worship to songs sung by the choir.

This ministry is a valuable tool to help children get involved in church and also not be embarrassed about expressing themselves. If your child likes to dance at home or on the sidelines at church let them experience GOP(Girls of Praize). Its hard work but it’s FUN!!!
