Salvation to Conversion
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1
The word transform is synonymous with conversion which means to change in character, form, or function. Christian conversion is like the life of a butterfly, a process and requires patience, a willingness to grow, and perseverance. The end state of this transformational process is to be converted and transformed, not just "saved." Remember that throughout this journey, you are not alone; God is always with you.
Salvation to Conversion is a book of ten lessons constructed so that the reader is able to find themselves in their transformational process and excel towards conversion. Each lesson is constructed to be interactive and collaborative with components that establish the foundation of each lesson with scriptures for the week and reflective questions, lesson objectives, ice-breakers, reference notes / definition of terms, and conversion tips. One may have thought at first glance that this book is for “new believers” but the Believers’ walk with Christ is one of continual development. As you read this book and or take the course you will see that this book will prepare you for the different stages of growth that you will go through as a believer. If you are a seasoned believer you will be able to pinpoint which stages you have been through. Lastly, as you work through each chapter of this book you will find opportunities to spread your wings and the steps to exercise your faith.
This class will help take you to a level in God that causes you to be saved and fully converted to the will of God through Holy Spirit. Classes are now being conducted on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:30am.
